Officers and Directors
The Friends of the James Farm (FOTJF) Board exists to serve and support the entire organization and its members. Our mission is to promote the study and understanding of 19th-century American history, with a special focus on the Civil War and its profound impact on those who lived through that turbulent era.
We also aim to deepen public knowledge of Jesse James, his family, and his associates—to explore not only what he did, but the complex world that shaped who he became.
The FOTJF is here to assist anyone seeking a richer connection to history—its meaning, its lessons, and the enduring influence of this remarkable and colorful period on American identity today.
The FOTJF Board meets quarterly to guide our efforts and ensure the continued preservation and interpretation of the James Farm Historical Site.
